The type of rental Pocket WiFi we provide is determined by the area of your residence where the internet will be installed. Depending on the coverage, the rental Pocket WiFi type will differ.
By reading the following conditions (for your specific payment type) and requesting a rental Pocket WiFi in the email we sent, you are agreeing to the following conditions.
Please be sure to read the following carefully and respond to our email. Please view the information about the payment method based on the payment method you selected for the home internet service.
Rental Pocket WiFi Conditions
1) This is a new special offer for Leopalace customers to try our Pocket WiFi for **FREE** until the investigation/installation date.
2) The rental Pocket WiFi we provide is meant to be a support device until the installation date.
3) In the event that the installation is not completed successfully and/or the customer wishes to cancel before the order submission, the device will need posted within 5 days.
4) There is no determined fair usage policy applied to the service. As for the amount of data, we technically cannot say that it is unlimited. Extreme usage may signal a flag to the provider. (Extreme amounts of continuous data over a period of time.) For the average user who is watching videos, working from home, playing games, etc. (normal internet usage), there should be no problems.
5) If the Pocket WiFi is damaged/lost, there is a damage fee and a lost fee of 30,000 JPY.
6) If any of the accessories are damaged/lost, the lost fee(s) will be charged for the accessories.
7) If we do not hear from you after 3 reminder emails, please note that the plan will automatically be changed to the Monthly Pocket WiFi plan. (※1) The change to the monthly pocket WiFi plan will occur the following day after we send the email if we do not hear from you.
8) We ask that the customer returns the Pocket WiFi device once the installation has been completed (or if the application process is canceled). If the device is not posted within 5 days after the installation (or application process cancelation), a daily fee will be incurred.
* After 5 days, the daily fee will occur from the next day of the installation (or application process cancelation) to the day you post the pocket wifi. (We confirm the posting date on the Japan Post Tracking system.) (The daily cost is the prorated amount of the monthly fee of 7,128 JPY.)
** If there are no records of the posting within 2 weeks from your installation date (or application process cancelation), the rental pocket wifi will automatically be switched to a monthly pocket WiFi plan. Once it is switched, the below monthly conditions are applied. (※1)

** The registration fee (110 JPY) will be charged.
**Minimum usage policy of 3 months is applied.
**Termination Policy applied. (You will need to submit a termination form through My Page by the 25th of your preferred termination month. The contract can be terminated at the end of the termination month.)
**Returning the pocket wifi does not equal terminating your contract. Unless the termination form is submitted, the contract is ongoing.

Payment Methods
① For Credit/Debit Card Payment
We ask that customers register their Credit/Debit Card using the link we will provide. Once we receive confirmation that the Credit/Debit Card has been registered, we will send the Pocket WiFi device.
(We will send the link when we receive confirmation that they wish to proceed with the rental)
※If you are a Sakura Mobile user and have already registered your Credit/Debit Card, then we will send the rental Pocket WiFi once we have received your confirmation of the following conditions.
② For CASH (Smart Pit) Payment
We require a 2-month deposit (6,480 JPY + 10% tax = 7,128 JPY x 2 = 14,256 JPY) for the Sakura Fiber Internet in order to rent a Pocket WiFi device.
The customer will pay the payment to the delivery person (Cash on delivery) when the rental Pocket WiFi is delivered. This is the deposit that will be used for the Sakura Fiber Internet, you will not need to pay this deposit later on when the home internet has been installed.
Delivery Date and Time (For CASH - Smart Pit Payment)
If you wish to continue with the rental, please let us know what date and time you would like to have the delivery company visit your residence to pick up the Cash on Delivery and deliver the rental Pocket WiFi device.

Returning the Rental Pocket WiFi
Please post the rental pocket WiFi and accessories within 5 days from when your internet has been successfully installed or when you canceled the application process.

※If you lose the Japan Post letter pack return envelope which we provided, please purchase a new RED Japan Post letter pack envelope from the Japan Post office. Please notify us of the tracking number for the new RED Japan Post letter pack envelope. (The address for our office can be found in the FAQ link below.)
※If the rental pocket WiFi is returned to us in another delivery method that requires payment on delivery (ie. our company needs to pay for the delivery upon return to our office), we will charge the amount minus the letter pack envelope amount. Please purchase a RED letter pack envelope to avoid this.
