To scan the Travel eSIM QR code, first, you will need to connect to the internet (via an airport public WiFi, etc.)
After doing so, please search for "[Japan eSIM] QR Code Issue Link / Sakura Mobile" in your mailbox. Then, please follow the images below to issue the eSIM QR code:
For iPhone users:
Go to the "[Japan eSIM] QR Code Issue Link / Sakura Mobile" and tap "Get your eSIM QR code".
Then, tap "Get QR code".


Confirm all and click the checkboxes, then tap "Confirmed and issue eSIM".
Then, tap "Show Activation QR-Code" to show your eSIM QR code.
Once you have your QR code ready...
For iPhone (there may be a slight difference depending on iOS/device model - we are using iPhone 12 mini in this example):
Go to Settings > Cellular (or Mobile) > Add eSIM > Scan the QR code or Enter details manually.
For those who cannot scan the QR code (has only 1 device), please tap Enter details manually.
Once the eSIM is installed, please make sure that you have selected our eSIM for Cellular Data/Mobile Data (if you have multiple eSIM/SIM cards on your device).
For Android (there may be a slight difference depending on device models - we are using Samsung Galaxy A54 5G in this example):
Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager > Add eSIM > Scan the QR code or Enter details manually.

For those who cannot scan the QR code (has only 1 device), please tap Enter details manually.
Once the eSIM is installed, please make sure that you have selected it for Mobile Data (if you have multiple eSIM/SIM cards on your device).
