Devices needed
・ONU modem - Provided by NTT (If you had a physical installation, the installation staff will set this up when they visit you)
・HGW device - Also provided by NTT
Connecting the devices
1) Locate the fiber-optic port in your residence and connect the white cable to the port. It should slide in without using too much force. You should hear a "click" sound once inserted.
※Note that your port may look different than the ones below.
2) Slide off the bottom cover of the ONU, plug the other end of the white fiber-optic cable into the LINE port of the ONU, and then put the cover back on.
3) Plug the AC adapter into the ONU.
4) Plug the LAN cable into the UNI port of the ONU (a "click" sound should be heard if correctly connected).
5) Plug the other end of the LAN cable into the WAN 10G (BLUE) port of the Home Gateway.
6) Plug the AC adapter into the Home Gateway.
7) The Home Gateway will attempt to connect to the internet and update. Once it has finished updating, it will restart and the setup should be completed. (The lights on the ONU and router should stabilize and light up like below).
※ There may be some variance in the lights on the Home Gateway depending on your model. If the internet works correctly, this variance is not cause for alarm.
And that's it! Now you should be able to connect to the internet!
