By requesting a rental WiFi device in a reply email, you are confirming your understanding and agreement with the below conditions.
Rental WiFi Device Conditions
1. Fee and payment
1) The Sakura Home Internet contract will begin when the rental WiFi device is delivered. The standard home internet monthly fee (7,128 JPY) will start from this date (The first monthly fee is prorated.)
2) In the event that the installation is not completed (failed installation/cancelation), the charges for the device will be calculated at a daily rate from the initial delivery of the device to the return postage date.
3)We require a 2-month deposit (6,480 JPY + 10% tax = 7,128 JPY x 2 = 14,256 JPY) for the Sakura Fiber Internet in order to rent a device.
The payment will be paid by the customer to the delivery person (Cash on delivery) when the rental device is delivered. This is the deposit that will be used for the Sakura Fiber Internet, you will not need to pay this deposit later on when the home internet has been installed.
2. Returning the rental device
1) The device needs to be posted within 5 days of the installation date. by using a return envelope sent with the device. This will be confirmed with the tracking number of the return envelope. Please refer to the instruction paper sent with the device for how to return the device.
For each day the device is not returned, an additional daily fee will be incurred.
*The daily cost is the prorated amount of the monthly fee of 7,128 JPY.

2) If we do not hear from you after 2 weeks, the plan will automatically be changed to the monthly plan. The conditions of the monthly plan can be found below. You will have two monthly contracts in that case.

(※1) Monthly plan terms
・The registration fee (110 JPY) will be charged.
・A deposit for monthly Pocket WiFi will be necessary (14,256 JPY) invoiced.
・Termination Policy applied. (You will need to submit a termination form through My Page by the 25th of your preferred termination month. Contracts can only be terminated at the end of a month.)
・Returning the device will not terminate your contract. A termination form needs to be submitted for each contract.
3) If the device/accessories are damaged/lost, there is a damage fee and a lost fee.
4)Please post the rental WiFi device and accessories within 5 days from when your internet has been successfully installed or when you canceled the application process.
