Since Data Only SIM card and Voice+Data SIM card are 2 different products, it is not possible to simply switch between these plans. The same applies to Data Only SIM cards - Pocket WiFi, etc...
It is only possible to change the monthly package of the same product (4 GB to 25 GB or 25 GB to 4 GB).
1. To change your plan from Data Only to Voice+Data, please cancel the current contract (Data Only) by submitting a termination form by the 25th of the month, then apply for a new contract (Voice+Data). The new contract will start immediately and another registration fee will be charged.
The registration fee can be reduced from 5,500 JPY to 3,300 JPY if you switch between SIM card plans and mention the old booking ID in the note column when you sign up for the new contract.
※ You will have to contact us again after you have made the application.
2. To terminate your contract, please log in to your Sakura Mobile My Page and submit a termination form by the 25th of the month※. You can read the following article for more instructions on cancelling your plan.
※ If you submit the termination form after the 25th of the month, the plan will be terminated one month later.
※ The last bill for the old SIM card plan (Data Only) will be charged one month after you terminate the contract.
