Depending on the internet type available in your residence, the port for the internet may differ. We will let you know what internet plan is available for you and what port we would like you to check.
★ When providing us with a picture of the internet port, please make sure to take a clear and close picture of the port so that we can confirm that it is the correct one. Please make sure that we can see the NTT lettering and any other necessary markings.
1) The fiber optic line port (Hikari port) looks similar to the one below. Generally, the jack will be located at the bottom of the plate with the 光 character somewhere on the port plate. (It will have "NTT" on it.)
2) The VDSL port is a modular jack and looks similar to a telephone jack.
Generally, the ports are located near the telephone jack in your residence.
Please note that your actual port/outlet may differ at your home.
If you are unsure as to what port you have, please feel free to contact us.

If NTT is not on the fiber-optic port
If the fiber-optic port does not have the letters "NTT," we cannot guarantee the port is associated with NTT and is usable with our service. There is a possibility that the port is for another internet service. If this is the case, the remote installation will not be successful.
If the NTT port is not found in the residence, a physical installation is still possible. We will provide more information about this if necessary.
(Ports without "NTT" on them may be for other providers such as Nuro, AU, J:COM, etc.)
