There are a few types of devices depending on your plan.
If you are using the new 100GB / 200GB plan (device number 40XXX / 44XXX)
This is a fixed plan with 100GB / 200GB per month, so the only way to request more data is to upgrade to a higher plan.
Plan : 200GB plan (Pocket WiFi), Home WiFi (unlimited plan without installation), Fiber Internet (fast internet with installation)

If you are using a 30 GB plan or lower, you can request a "data reset" or a "plan upgrade"
For data reset : Please log in to Sakura Mobile my page, and go to the "plan change" section to request a Data RESET.
※ We have to charge you the same monthly fee before we provide you with the Data RESET service.
・If your device number is 3XXX, then we can do this for you without changing your device.
・If your device number is NOT 3XXX, then you have to fill in your address, so we can send you a new device.
For plan upgrade : Please log in to Sakura Mobile my page, and go to the "plan change" section to request a plan upgrade.
※ We will have to send you a new device.
If you are using a 100GB Pocket WiFi (device number 8XXX).

If you use more than 100 GB this month, the network provider will suspend your internet connection.
If you are interested, you can top up your plan to use the internet for the rest of the month.
Once you top up, you will be able to use 10 GB of high-speed data per day.
Price: 300 JPY/day + VAT10% = 330 JPY/day
*You cannot choose the specific day to top up. This top-up will apply to the rest of this month.
Please see below for an example:
If you used all of the data between November 1st and 28th, the top-up will apply from November 28th to November 30th.
Top-up price: 330 JPY/day x 3 days = 990 JPY
