The day you install our Travel eSIM (add it to your device) will be counted as the 1st day of the rental period.

For example, if you buy an unlimited eSIM for your 10-day Japan trip (from January 1st to January 10th):

・If you purchase it before you arrive in Japan, we recommend you install the eSIM on the day of your arrival in Japan, as this will be the 1st day of the 10-day eSIM.

*Our eSIM data connection is only available for use within Japan. You can install it before arriving in Japan; however, please note that the usage period will begin immediately upon installation.

This means that if you install the eSIM while outside Japan, your 10-day usage period will already have started, and you will not have the full 10-day period remaining upon your arrival in Japan.

・If you purchase it after you are in Japan, you can install it anytime depending on your needs, and that day will be the 1st day of the entire 10 days.
*e.g. Installing the eSIM anytime on January 1 means you can use the eSIM until 23:59 (11:59 PM) on January 10; you can use it until the very end of January 10th.
**e.g. Installing the eSIM at 23:59 (11:59 PM) on January 1 means you can use the eSIM until 23:59 (11:59 PM) on January 10. - Even if you only have a few minutes on your 1st day (January 1st), the eSIM usage period counts as Day 1 of your eSIM usage period.

Important information regarding the eSIM installation.
1. You will need a stable internet/WiFi connection when installing the eSIM profile.
2. The eSIM can only be installed once. Please DO NOT delete/remove your eSIM from your device after the successful installation.
