Rest assured, you do not need to be a resident in Japan to apply for our service and application with a passport is possible.

For SIM/Pocket WiFi

The required documents differ depending on your product, payment method and pickup location. 

For Voice+Data contracts that have a phone number, if you wish to use a passport as documentation, face-to-face identity verification is required. 

You will need to pick up the monthly item at our Shinjuku office, airport pickup counters, or our partner counters by presenting your passport in person.

For Home WiFi

You can submit your passport as your ID if your payment method is a card.

For Fiber Internet

We will require both ID and address documentation, but this can be in the form of a passport and rental/purchase contract or utility bill for your residence.
