※Preparing a new SIM card with your current phone number takes approximately 4–5 days.
Steps to transfer your current phone number to Sakura Mobile.
① Submit an MNP request to your current provider in Japan.
② Once received the MNP information from the current provider, apply for our Voice+Data "SIM card"

③ Check the box next to "I have a Japanese number" and then fill in the MNP information
※Make sure that the remaining expiry date of your MNP number has more than 8 days when you submit the application with us
④ You will receive an email regarding the pick up and activation schedule once the application has been authorized
*For eSIM ⇩
⑤ Contact us via email once you have received the physical SIM card. We will proceed to convert the SIM card to eSIM.
*At this moment, we do not offer direct eSIM MNP transfer. We are sorry for the inconvenience.
