Unfortunately, our current Monthly Pocket WiFi plans do not support data top-ups.
If you have an old Pocket WiFi plan (Uroaming)
Our old Pocket WiFi devices look like the picture below. If your device does not look like this, then this content does not apply to your plan.
If you run out of data, it is possible to top up your data until the end of the month.
At a rate of 330 JPY per day, your device will receive 10GB per day until the end of the month.
Please note that it is not possible to select specific days to top up; you must pay for the entire remainder of the month in order to receive more data.
For example: If you use all 100GB on November 28th, you would need to pay for a data top-up from November 28th-November 30th.
Top-up price: 330 JPY/day x 3 days = 990 JPY
To request a top up, please contact us.
When the monthly data limit is reached, it will not be possible to use data from the same device until the natural reset at the beginning of next month.
Instead, we can recommend the following options:
1. Upgrade your plan
2. Purchase a temporary Travel product
3. Tether from your mobile device
Upgrade your plan
If you request to upgrade your plan, we will send you a replacement device as soon as possible.
We recommend upgrading your plan if you believe you will use up your current data limit consistently in the following months as well.

*If you wish to upgrade to Fiber Internet, please contact us as you will need to terminate your current device and place a new application for Fiber Internet.
Purchase a Travel product
If you are in need of immediate data, but do not usually use as much as you have this month, then it may be better to purchase a temporary Travel product. Our Travel products are one-time payment rentals that you can designate a specific rental period for.
You can view our Travel Pocket WiFis or browse our Travel eSIMs (will be delivered immediately via email) on our website.
Tether from your mobile device
If you also have a Monthly SIM/eSIM plan with us, depending on your device, you may be able to tether/hotspot your cellular data connection to other devices.
Your cellular data can be topped up online through your Sakura Mobile My Page if you run out.
