There are multiple steps required to set up your eSIM, so please ensure you complete each of these steps in order to begin using our service.
Even if you have installed the eSIM via a pop-up notification on your phone, completing Step 2 & Step 4 of this process is MANDATORY. You will not be able to use data or make calls/SMS if you do not complete those steps.
eSIM Setup Procedure
1. Enter EID
2. Activate eSIM
3. Install eSIM
4. Complete APN Settings
Step 1 - Enter EID
In order to generate your eSIM, you must first submit your device's EID.
An EID is a unique 32-digit number assigned to your phone.
Where to find your EID
iPhone: Settings → General → About → Scroll down to "EID"
Android: Search for "EID" in your Settings page.
Any device: Dial "*06#", your EID should then display on your screen.

If you cannot find an EID on your phone, your device may not be eSIM
compatible.
In this case, please
contact us
as soon as possible.
1. Go to the email titled: "Your order has been authorized"
2. Click the link: "Submit EID"
3. Enter your device's EID
You can often long press the EID number to copy it for pasting.
4. Wait for your eSIM to be issued
How long will it take for the eSIM to be issued?
eSIM issuance takes about 40 minutes to complete.
However, our system will only issue eSIMs between 9AM-6PM every day. Therefore, if you submit your EID outside of this time, it may not begin issuing until 9AM the following day. Then, it will take 40 minutes.
※Your eSIM will not begin issuing until the start date of your contract.

Step 2 - Activate eSIM
Your eSIM will be ready for activation as soon as you receive an automatic notification email from us informing you that, "your eSIM has been assigned." The title of this email may differ, so please search for the latest email from us.
In order to enter the activation page, you will need to enter your unique Access Code. This code is written in the body of the email, not the title.
Follow the below activation process depending on your order:
If you picked up a PHYSICAL ENVELOPE
2. Enter your Access Code
If you DID NOT pick up a physical envelope
If you completed an online verification process (read the IC chip of your ID with your device) and your payment method is credit card, follow the below instructions.
Otherwise, picking up a physical envelope at your designated pickup location is MANDATORY to activate your eSIM.
2. Copy the Access Code listed in the body of this email, NOT the title
3. Open the link: "eSIM Issuance"
4. Enter your Access Code
Step 3 - Install eSIM
The installation QR code will display after you have tapped the "Activate this eSIM" button. There are multiple ways to then install the eSIM.
"Add eSIM" option
1. Long press the QR code
2. Select the "Add eSIM" option at the bottom of the menu
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to finish installation
Scan the QR code
1. Prepare the QR code to scan from your device
You will have to display it on another screen. This can be done by opening the activation page on another device, sending yourself a photo of the QR code to open on another screen, printing out the QR code, etc.
2. Go to Settings and search for the Add (e)SIM option
3. Select to add by QR code
4. Scan the QR code from the Settings camera
5. Follow on-screen instructions to finish installation
If you cannot install via any of the options above
For iPhone:
Install the eSIM manually
If the "Add eSIM" option is not available, and you cannot display the QR code on another device, you can install the eSIM manually instead (QR code not needed).
You still have to complete Step 2 - Activate eSIM before trying this method.
2. Select "Use QR Code"
3. Select "Enter Details Manually"
For Android:
"Scan from photo" option
1. Long press the QR code
2. Select the "Save to photos" option
3. Go to Settings and search for "SIM" to find the "Add (e)SIM" option
4. Select "Scan from photo" and choose the saved QR code
5. Follow on-screen instructions to finish installation
Step 4 - Complete APN Settings
Completing these settings is required, and is the last step to begin using your data.

You may receive a "PDP Authentication Error" or no signal error if these settings are not completed, and you will not be able to use cellular data.
For iPhones:
1. Please install the APN profile by clicking this link in Safari.
2. You must open this link in Safari, then tap Allow.
3. Next, go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and tap on the profile (Cellular) Sakura Mobile to complete the installation.
4. You may need to restart your phone before the connection starts working.
If you still cannot connect after installing the APN profile
1. Turn OFF
all other SIMs/eSIMs besides ours.
2. Delete
our
APN profile
3. RESTART
your phone.
4. Reinstall
our APN profile using the same steps as above.
5. Restart
your
phone again if necessary.
For Android:
You must manually create an new APN profile for our SIM card, and fill in the values as specified on our website.
Search your Settings for "Access Point Names" or "APNs" to find the menu on your device.
Make sure there are no spaces and all of the values are all lowercase.
Afterwards, you must save the profile, then select it for our SIM.
